Proof of Life: Voice Notes

It's 3:00 am as I try to put this together. I sit here indulging my bad habit of sipping a can of Budweiser while I write. Curating Proof of Life gives me a reason to reflect, to find inspiration, and the motivation to keep going despite the dark clouds that sometimes overshadow my mind. And no version of POL quite captures this like our voice notes edition. First, it’s a gentle reminder that another month is ending and there’s still a lot to do. Second, the raw, unfiltered voices of friends sharing unabashedly show that we are not alone in this journey.

This edition focuses on the people behind our people, captured through their voices as they answer this question.

What’s been happening

My random thoughts on Instagram have been going crazy lately. It feels good knowing that loads of people connect with my madness… or genius, depending on who you ask. 😂

Anyway, it’s brought back a feeling I’m all too familiar with; the burden that comes with turning a hobby into a source of income. That feeling when a pastime starts showing a little potential, and suddenly, you begin to wonder if you should make it more than what it is: just a hobby.

I don’t know yet. But it feels nice.
